A design career can be about confronting and exploring our world — ideas, issues, societies and change. Like artists, we interpret the world for others. Unlike artists, we can find ourselves in some pretty amazing and unexpected places if we develop the creative independence to take risks. That’s the key, and it means learning how not to say no to impossible odds.
